TRAFFIC INCIDENT
MANAGEMENT
The graphics have been applied to the Traffic Incident Managment truck and several
work sessions have been held with much work accomplished by all who attendend. New LED lighting has been
added as well, which will improve visibility to motorists and safety for responders and the travelling
public. Thank you to all who have donated their time and supplies to our effort.
In 2009, DCERT, through a partnership with the Dodge County
Sheriff's Department, formed a Traffic Incident Management (TIM) unit. The primary purpose of this
partnership is to provide a safer work zone for emergency responders at incident scenes. A secondary
service provided by the TIM unit is safety patrol on area county, state and federal highways. We are
pleased to be able to offer this service to our community.
